Traditional Martial artist vs Mixed Martial arts
I know this has been placed before but i want to cover this topic myself. Its always been known that practicing multiple styles of different martial arts is better than one traditional martial arts style. Of course an mixed martial artist or mma for short who trained for three years fight against an martial artist with three years of traditional martial arts then of course the mma fighter wins. Yet if the traditional fighter had a decades worth of training and the other fighter had the same amount can he defeat the mma fighter? can the one technique defeat the other composed different effective styles? of course your not going to do actual martial arts form in a real fight. I mean trained in the cultural martial arts for combat. Bruce Lee has been known to only use wing chun before he developed the philosophy that multipe martial arts is better than one going on to make Jeet kune do. He was a very effective fighter when learning wing chun winning almost all of his fights in fact with that one style. TO be an effective martial atist does it depend on the martial art or the martial artist?

Martial Arts Effectiveness in Real Life
Martial Arts has been apart of human history for hundreds or thousands of years used for many benefits of health. Yet every time someone gains an interest in training for martial arts the common question you hear as a martial artist is “Can martial arts be used in real life?”. Honestly yes i believe so but of course there are limits. Despite what you see in the movies training hard in martial arts will not give you the ability to fight 10 unarmed men and beat them all under 3 minutes. Yet if ever caught in a street fight in which self defense is necessary of course training in martial arts helps improve the chances of winning the coming fight and succeed in defending oneself. Sure a street fight is a different situation than MMA fight as there are no reals but that can play to your benefit as well. In order for martial arts to be effective in real life you must train for a certain number of years as only having a few months of training isn’t enough to implement the muscle memory in a fight or to apply learned techniques you probably don’t remember. I found that jujitsu and judo techniques work well as you can easily incapacitate an opponent by a double leg take down on hard concrete. Even Law enforcement officials and military officers use some form of traditional martial arts in their training today. Training in martial arts also develops the physical abilities of a martial artist such as the speed of punches. SO i do believe martial arts is real effective in real life is used correctly and with enough years and dedication to training martial arts can be used effectively in real life.
