This has got to be one of the BEST martial arts fight scenes i have ever seen. I mean not only is it soooooo brutal but the martial arts displayed has both traditional and modern martial arts moves displayed. This video comes from the movie "Raid Redemption" a foreign movie from Indonesia. It is possibly one of the best movies i have ever seen for just plain old fashion kung fu action and not a complicated plot. Even street fighting moves are shown as displayed in the lack of techniques in some of the punches thrown adding bit of a sense of realistic element to the fight scene. In my honest opinion what makes this fight very entertaining to watch is the counters. Notice how the short man (Mad Dog) takes on the brothers and counters just about every move they have when it seems like they have gained the upper-hand. Even the brothers have amazing counters as seen when they pull mad dog down when he was about to jump into an attack against the other brother. Elements of muay thai and judo are shown all throughout this film. The elbows thrown are flawless and well timed. The brutality of this fight also adds to the excitement. The brothers teamwork in this video which allowed them to finally gain control of the fight and win is another element as to why i love this video. Its as if they're the perfect tag team. Their moves fall in sync with each other. No one is holding back and they throw every punch with the intention to kill or immobilize the opponent. There are just too many reasons as to why I absolutely Love this fight and chose it as my favorite fight scene. Whoever has worked on the choreography for this film has done an fantastic job and may be one of my favorite fight scene movie choreographers besides Zack Snyder.
