Pacquiao vs Rios Results
At midnight on Nov. 24,2013 the awaited fight of Manny Pacquiao vs Brandon Rios occurred with Pacquiao coming out as the winner. Although Rios is a great fighter in his own right he couldn't keep up with one of the greatest boxers to hit the ring. Manny just pounded on Rios throughout the 12 rounds. Rios didn't even test Pacquiao in anyway at all. Manny still retained his fighting skills and speed after all this time thank goodness. Although Manny still remained on top in this fight i don't know if he still has what it takes to be referred to as one of the top two fighters in the world in boxing. The only chance Rios had of winning this fight was to provoke Manny into abandoning his game plan which happened whenever Rios was lucky enough to even hit Pacquiao. Pacquiao would just get pissed and attack Rios with this Flashlike speed which is fine and dandy for a brawl but as one of the best fighters in the world it wont work in his favor.

First amateur fight.
For the past 2 months I have been training vigorously on for a fight that's is scheduled early in the day on Nov.3 on Sunday. Usually I visit my sifu's house for 4days a week the usual martial arts training I've been doing since I was 12 years old. He received his own gym recently but I still receive one on one training with him to be better perfect my skills. In September he mentioned scheduling my fight but it wasn't confirmed yet he trained me as if it was. Since then I've been training nearly everyday not just in martial arts skills but performing various vigorous exercises that benefit me in peforming martial arts. I've been lifting weights to increase the strength in my neck, back, and shoulders to increase punching power. I ran 3 miles a day in a specialized way of training my sifu showed me. My best friend Tj and I have been training for our fights with a determination to win. I've been so energetic to train but afterwords I'd be too exhausted to even pay attention or stay awake in class or a conversation. This Sunday I'm ready for the fight. I had to gain five pounds and I did my best to avoid eating unhealthily although my metabolism has been at an all time high. My first amateur fight will be in Daytona an I will win. I trained for that victory. It's a great way to test myself an see how I progressed.
